Flight Into Known Icing (FIKI) Approval

3C’s PC12-NG is in the process of being fully equipped as an atmospheric chase aircraft that will be used to conduct the required flight testing of aircraft, including drones, to obtain FIKI approval from TCCA.
FIKI approval has never been achieved for a drone, but is an absolute requirement for consistent and persistent year round operations in Canada.
3C is already under contract with one of the major drone manufacturers to achieve this milestone.
